trade-in program

Raven Book Haven welcomes gently used books through our trade-in program. This program allows customers to receive store credit in exchange for books we’re able to accept.

• Books accepted through our trade-in program are eligible for store credit only.
• Store credit is issued at 25% of the book’s store price, determined at the time of review.
• Store credit may be applied to up to 50% of a single purchase and is valid toward used book purchases only.
• Any remaining balance must be paid by cash or card.
• Credit is issued at the time of review and does not expire.
   

We typically accept:

• Gently used fiction and nonfiction
• Books that align with our current inventory needs 

All books must be:

• Clean and odor-free
• Free of mold, water damage, or heavy wear
   

Currently, we do not accept:

• Textbooks or outdated reference materials 
• Cookbooks
• Encyclopedias or manuals
• Books with heavy damage, mold, strong odors, or missing pages
   

• Trade-ins are limited per visit to keep the process manageable
• Acceptance is based on condition, genre, and current inventory needs
• All trade-ins are accepted at our discretion
• We recommend checking with us before bringing in a large quantity.
